Short Practice Time is Better than Long Practices

Short practices are better than long practices. I usually only shoot 24 shots in a practice session then I'm done.

I'm more likely to do a short practices more consistently. It's better to do three short practices three days in a row than to do one long practice and skip the rest of the week.

Practicing a shorter amount of time keeps my thumb from hurting and helps strengthen it gradually over time. If I do a long practice, I'm out for several days because my thumb hurts.

It's also mentally easier to devote 15 minutes to a practice rather than hours. Put it onto your weekly schedule to practice at least 2 times per week for 15 minutes and stick to it like its a meeting or an appointment. Inch by inch its a cinch!

Think about short practice times as putting small amounts of money into a savings account consistently. It does have a cumulative affect.
